Beach Service

I don't think anyone has mentioned this. I'm relaxing on the CP beach today on a beautiful sunny day. A server just came up and took my drink order and I was served a beer for only $5. Apparently they have servers at the pool and beach all day serving drinks from the Surf Lounge. Plus they have a DJ playing music and a bunch of beach games are going on. What fun, I think I was just teleported to the Caribbean!

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

It has been going on most of the summer.

My mom said she was sitting out there and a worker came out and wanted to take her order as well. I think it is really nice that they have this, and I like that they're starting to pay more attention to the beach, and the outdoor area around Hotel Breakers.

My wife experienced this at the Breakers East pool. She ordered a Mikes hard lemonade that was brought out in a Surf Lounge plastic souvenir cup.

Yeah, this would have NEVER happened during the Kinzel era. If I ever meet Mr. Ouimet, I'll buy him a cocktail just for putting resort back into the resort.

The beach has very much improved this year.

Now about those lane lines in the lake that don't let you go past like 4 feet deep...

Sorry CP and Lake Erie:( I will take the real Caribbean any day.

Although I applaud them doing this. It is awesome not having to move to get a drink.

We had someone ask us when we were sitting by the firepits. Thought it was great! Not sure if it's a staffed position or two out there or just if the second bartender wanders out when things are slow at the bar. Either way, I didn't realize they wandered all the way down to the beach though!

It's not the bartenders, they have dedicated servers that wander about.

Having just come off a cruise ship to/from Bermuda, I've become quite accustomed to this kind of thing. I think I could get used to that. :)

Now, if only they offered a drink package...

The pat couple of months I have been gloating about the revival of the beach. It's amazing how many people are utilizing it now. It's a must every time I'm up there now

Now that CP is paying attention to the beach it is time to pay attention to the lake. Move the ropes out so the water is deeper. It would be nice to swim in water deeper than my ankles--actually it was up to my knees.

Maybe he Ellis life guards can't rescue people in water deeper than 3 1/2 to 4 feet. No offense to the life guards, just their system.
