Best day to visit Cedar Point

Me and some of my crew members from the other park in Ohio are planning a trip to Cedar Point for in either June or July, and since most of the people who visit this site work at Cedar Point I was hoping you could help me out.

Last year, it was Sunday believe it or not
. Soon as people figure out that Saturdays are the worst day to go that may change. Mondays and Fridays tend to be bad also.

One Sunday I was there in July the line for Millennium Force was below a half hour for most of the day! (I rode it 19 times) All the other lines were at the most 30 minutes and were walk ons late and early in the day.

Also they offered discounted admission somewhere around $25 on Sundays at tops just to get people to go that day. Hopefully people won't figure out Sundays rule and Saturdays are death :).

Tuesdays aren't bad either.  Only a 10 minute wait for raptor and mantis, walk-on's for magnum and corkscrew.  I believe the longest i waited was about 40 minutes and that was for both mean streak and millennium force.

Cedar POintusually tells people Tuesday - Thursday are good days to go since they are not crowded. I agree with the Tuesday and Wednesday part. Thursday can change from week to week, IMO

The best days that I have gone to are the Sundays after a major holiday (i.e. Memorial Day, 4th of July).  I have gone for the last 3 years after each day and has terrific times.

CLOSING DAY! Last year I went to cp on closing day during haloweekends and there was a 15 min. wait for mf and walkins for about everything except the haunted houses.

Like i said it had to be sometime during June or July, also i don't know about closing day unless the weather is real crappy, PKI drew 43,000+ on november 4 and 5 last year on each day.

Best time to visit PKI is probably on a Sunday in april or wednesday during june, july and august, dont go to pki on a tuesday because they have gold pass double rides on some rollercoasters, which results in almost twice the wait.

Believe it or not...I find the Fourth of July to be not so bad...They stay open until midnight so you have plenty of time to get on everything....It's also not as bad as you think crowd wise...I have been able to ride every ride that day without a problem and still have time to spare for the fireworks show you get...I think that's the best day...I know that will be one of my 4 yearly trips I make to the point...I have gone for the last three years on this day and loved it...

Any day I'm there.

come on!! july 4th baby!!!! :)

I went on a July 4th (about 5 years ago) and the place was packed!  Fortunately, we had a room at the Sand Castle, and combo passes so we hit Soak City for a while.  But after everyone telling me that July 4 was a good day, I was very disappointed in the long lines.  The fireworks were fantastic, tho.
