Bill Spehn new Director of Park Operations?

I've heard that Bill is back at CP since Wozniak resigned. Does anyone know if this is just for the rest of the 2007 season or if it's permanent?

Hopefully permanent. And if Dominator joined him, I would be very happy.

Operations at the park went down hill when Bill left. With him back, we should see good things!

Wouldn't Spehn be GM of Geauga Lake Wildwater Kingdom still.

The third line is actualy, "Break me off a piece of that Kit-Kat bar." :)

After watching the 5 hour and 14 minute Indians game, a Kit-Kat bar would really hit the spot about now.

He is not the Director, he is the VP of Operations.

I was very happy to hear this news yesterday. Ride operations have taken a nose dive the last couple years and here's to hoping he can restore them to the way they were for so long.

On thing I liked about Mr. Spehn is he was always visible around the park, coming up and asking you if you were hitting your numbers, etc. He's a big, intimidating guy, but he's pretty nice if you just do your job. :)

I am real sorry to hear about Woz-have known him for years and really loved him. He was even at my wedding! :)
He was always present at the park, you just needed to know where to find him!
I thought he had an awesome repoor with the employees I hope he has great success in what ever he decides to do. I'll miss him!

I do have equal respect for Bill, as do all the employees. Glad he wasn't one of the ones let go at GL. I'm sorry things didn't work for him the way they should have at GL-at least we don't have to worry about the same happening to CP. Ever! And yea, it would be awesome if he brought Dominator with him too! ;)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

He is very intimidating guy the first time you meet him, but I was surprised by how quickly I felt a deep respect for the man when I first met him at GL's community day back in '05.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Does anybody know why Wozniak resigned? He was one of my favorite administrators when I used to work there.

You also have to consider though, that he's been working with the company long enough that he's probably making more than what just a waterpark operation can support in terms of a GM financially.

It's for sure. He was there this weekend and he pumped up the Screamsters and was walking around the park all night.

Woz probably got a better job elsewhere. That would be my guess on why he left.
