B&M or Intamin

There are two different kinds of 4D coasters. Arrow/S&S like X at Six Flags Magic Mountain and Intamin's ball/zach coaster. Arrow/S&S's design has been a nightmare since it has been built and Intamin's ride doesn't have a high enough capacity for CP.

I've yet to find any adult woman with breasts who likes the flying coasters, regardless of model. Right there you're eliminating half of the population.

The girl that travels with us to parks has big breasts and LOVES the flying coasters. We also rode with two girls on Tatsu who had huge breasts and loved the ride. We actually had a conversation with them about that! LOL!

^^^The only thing I would slightly disagree on is that I (personally) wouldn't consider Intamins take on S&S/Arrow's design a true 4D. My reason is that since neither the Furius Baco model or the ZacSpin have a spin controlled by a secondary set of rails, like the S&S/Arrow design does, they wouldn’t be considered 4D's.

Though I do agree that neither version is an eye opener in the whole capacity and maintenance deal.

How has the 4D over in Japan been faring? I haven't heard anything about it in quite a while. I heard rumblings that S&S Arrow had redesigned a few things that were causing some of the major headaches with X, and it would be interesting to know if the redesign fixed the problems.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

The guys over at TPR think Eejanaika is completely worse than the X. Apparently the new X trains are completely redesigned, so hopefully they do a lot better. Although, I'm one of the few that actually loved X.

^I'm not sure about reliabilty, but Japan's version is said to be even rougher. X's new trains shown IAPPA have noticeable improvements over the older designs.

I personally don't like flying coaster either, however I would love one at Cedar Point just to draw crowds to so ever other line could be shorter. Actually the only way I think a flying coaster could be fun if a deuling element is mixed in. I think flying coasters are made to be deuling. I think it should have a vertical lift hill facing the opposite train going up (for trash talking purposes) and then at some point going into a double barrel roll around each other. Then I think I might like a flying coaster. But they need an extra element to give them a thrill.

In other news... I've ridden 2 flyers. Fire X Hawk Flight, and Superman at SFGAm. And while Superman is just a waste of time and space, Firehawk was kind of fun. But I don't think it's the premier ride that it's made out to be at Kings Island. I'd much rather see a standard sit-down coaster.

The new X trains are 1/3 lighter, and instead of the seats bolted to a couple of "arms" coming out of the cam, it's one big piece that presumably would isolate some of the vibration, or at least make it vibrate uniformly so the inside seat is just as bad. :)

Ask them the next day.... LuvRaptor warned me about X-Flight, I loved that ride so much (rode it 6 times during ERT). The next day, I was paying dearly... So I only rode it once the next year. I learned my lesson.
