Breakers express

I know this is Cedar Point's budget property but I'm just wondering is it clean? I can handle an ok hotel as long as it's clean. I've never had the opportunity to stay on property but since my friend is going to share a room with my husband and I now we can. It really came out cheaper than what I had at the Motel 6 due to park tickets being cheaper and parking included with ticket packages and of course early entry is the main reason. We have fast pass plus for Sunday, I'm assuming those cannot be used until the entire park opens at 10a?

Keep in mind there is no shuttle service to Breakers Express. If you have a hip issue the shuttle to Breakers, Sandcastle Suites, and Lighthouse Point may be a selling point. They will pick up and drop off at any gate or resort.

We have a car so no issues there, I just need to take my time and sit often. I wish more than anything we could afford a different property but we can't, this is stretching it just doing this. If need be I can be dropped off and picked up and let my husband get the car. If worst comes to worst we will rent s wheel chair but I did it last year do I'm hoping I will be ok.

Breakers Express is ok. I guess it's clean but it seems worn out or something.
Did I dream this or does that hotel have a remodel/addition on the way?
Anyway, the beds really suck, I'd forgotten about that. But don't shy away, it sounds like you've figured out its a good thing, which it is.

And there is nobody manning FastLane during the early ride hour. You wouldn't need it except for Valravn anyway. I like this season because every time I've been there the other rides have been station waits, MF and Maverick included. Most early riders go straight for Valravn, so there's a tip for you. Hit that ride later in the day when your FastLane will pay off.

Thanks that's exactly the tip I needed. I figured we would try to hit gatekeeper and then millennium force and then head towards top thrill dragster for when it opens at 10. Last year we did maverick and then millennium force but it's s lot of walking for me and due to my hip I need to try not to wear myself out early. I sort of figured everyone goes immediately to valravn which yes I'm dying to get on but I can definitely wait. W are arriving Saturday evening but I figured we would probably do just small rides and show my friend around the park.

GateKeeper has had some of the shortest waits all season long from what I gather. And with Fast Lane it will be even shorter. I would use the early entry on Maverick and/or Millennium Force, they tend to have longer lines. And then head to Stop Still Dragster at park opening. But with FL you should be able to ride most everything as much as you want through the day.

You didn't dream that. CP has applied for and gotten approval for expanding Breakers Express. I hope they renovate the existing rooms as well. I think they should do a Peanuts theme throughout.

On that note, does Breakers still have the Peanuts floors after the remodel?

It's been very clean everytime I've been there. The beds aren't the best . If you can swing the extra money try for sandcastle or breakers.

Thanks as long as it's clean that's all we care about. I wish we could stay at breakers hotel but it's definitely not in our budget.
