Camera's on one of the rides

In local papers they talk about Geauga Lake and they were talking about putting a camera on one of the rides. I guess you can now buy a dvd of yourself on the ride. Not sure if anyone heard or posted this thought I would just share.

i dont know about it, but it would require some high speed wireless networking to feed video from the train to the burner quickly.

I believe Alton Towers (UK) already has a system like this in place. Geauga Lake would be one of the last parks in the US that would get this technology though.

^^I know of quite a few parks that do not have this technology.

I'm pretty sure a couple of the Paramount Parks had this system installed on one or two of their rides. Which leads me to wonder, with the whole roller coaster move and everything, if Geauga Lake's new video system might actually be coming from one of the Paramount Parks that had such a system.

Yes, it is on Top Gun at Canada's Wonderland. The ride is exactly the same as Thunderhawk at Geauga Lake so maybe it will be on that one. But, the DVD to buy after the ride is about $20 there, so it is well not worth it. They don't even videotape the whole ride.

Isn't it a mixture of your ride, and previously recorded video?
