Yeah, 13 Action News did a thing on roller coaster injuries and safety-They said since '95 or '96 only 3 major injuries(such as broken bone, etc.) have occured @ CP. None of them occured on the coasters. Hmmmm.......roller coasters aren't safe, huh? One of the injuries was a young girl ran into a poll getting off of a major ride. This goes to show you that the GP is the cause of most of the problems that parks such as CP have.

Sorry for the rambling.

I recall hearing of only 1 death at CP, and this was after riding a coaster, maybe asthma attack or something. Is there any truth to this? A lot of rumors ive heard say people have been hurt on the Wildcat, but I think people just say that.

sorry for the not so happy post, but it has to do with the topic...

One death was a 14 year old girl 2 or 3 years ago I think. It was on the Wildcat. An autopsy revealed she had an unknown to her - heart problem which led to her death. NOTHING to do with the operation of the ride.
Thanks Rob for conferming that.

It was in the 80s, not two or three years ago. I don't know the specific year, but it was in the 80s.
Channel 7 News is doing a report on the MF to night at 5 or 6.
It was in fact 3 years ago, because the kid went to my high school...I do recall the moment of silence for him. It was after riding a coaster he went into the bathroom and died. He shouldn't have been riding roller coasters in the first place, thus not the coasters fault...As good ol' HAL would say "Human Error"
