For those who are going to be attending the CoasterMania event on June 2... I was reading on CP website that tickets can be purchased at the Group Sales booth at the main enterance, but, for those who will be staying at the Breakers, will we be able to purchase the tickets at either the hotel, or one of the entrances near the hotel?

No. You have to go to the front gate on one of the shuttle buses. At least that is how it has been in the past.
Here's my question. I live in L.A., but am attending the Coastermania event on June 2nd. I work in advertising and purchase radio advertising in Toledo and Detroit, so i'm having some of the stations I work with get me tickets to Cedar Point. My question is will the tickets they get for me be OK to use for the Coastermania event? They're regular $38.00 admission tix, but I think that Coastermania requires some special ticket. Is that true?

Yes, someone who is a member of a recognized coaster club can purchase up to three tickets for non-members I believe. Even though I am a season passholder, I still have to go to group sales show my season pass to get my "badge"(to get you riding priveleges during ERT and the free lunch) and pay for my friends ticket also. This is probably a dumb question seeing as how when I get to the park, there will be tons of people in the same spot.
It's outside of the main gate on the far left. It's clearly marked, you can't miss it.
