Coasters and who made them

Oh ho, KISS doesn't deserve to be in the Hall, but Madonna, Bonnie Raitt, and Miles Davis do?

Not to diss any of those fine performers, but their music has only very tangentially ever had to do with 'rock and roll' -- whereas KISS is the very epitome of rock. Glam wearing, platform boot stomping, tongue flicking, flame breathing, straight up rock and roll.

Not that any of their many records ever received much critical love, and not that I'm a fan at all -- I'm not -- but their effect on rock and roll as we know it was profound, and their fans were legion. I knew a guy who had every square inch of his bedroom plastered in KISS regalia.

Bon Jovi FTW :)

Let's Get Weird.

But It seems like that Intamin has a bad track record for reliability!
Look TTD it has bein closed more than it has open,Maverick it took them 3 years to figure that one out,Plus they had to remove/modify the track, due to the heartline spin giving to much stress to the cars/trains,Don't get me wrong these are good rides it is just crappy design team, but who am i right?
B&M are the best by far, they really made some really cool layouts and the ride is smooth as glass!

And we won't talk about Arrow! Those coasters should be in jail for assault & battery!

And on another note people who hate KISS are just jealous that they did not think of that idea!

Intamin's are not very reliable and i really don't think they are worth the money they are sold for. Arrow was a very reliable, low downtime, and very inexpensive companies for roller coasters. B&M are too expensive, but are pretty reliable and are pretty good capacity.

Ya i would love to see B&M launch a coaster to 120 MPH. Oh wait they are to afraid to try anything innovative or new. I guarantee that if they build a TTD, Maverick, Wicked Twister, etc.. the downtime would be the same.

2009: Demon Drop/Disaster Transport/Turnpike Cars/Sky Ride
2010: Back to the 12E!!!!

i agree, they need another woodie. How about
removing MeanStreak and putting it there?

That's one of the prevailing theories for what the park should do/will do in future years.

But B&M are expensive granted but if you want to think about it, They come up with some of the coolest idea's look at HULK and DUELING DRAGONS!!! and yes Arrow are great too Ron Toomer was a great designer, But there Suspended coasters gave them some trouble and there other coasters were rough, rough enough to have some of them dismantled;ie Drachen Fire, but in my personal opinion B&M are just great rides.
But the design on Mantis well...... That's another story!!!!
And if you want to get on the subject of wood coasters well, Nothing will ever beat the Beast!!!!

I will give an idea They need a 4th dimension or a flying, they are just missing on something like that something really unique, something that really stands out!
And they need to get rid of Dilapidated Transport(disaster transport) and they already got rid of demon drop soooooo there would be a lot of space to work with, but they just need something that stands out or really cool.

1. There is an edit button so you don't have to dopuble post.

2. You dont think a 420 foot, a 310 foot, and 215 foot coasters at one park doesnt stand out like a flyer would? Hate to tell you, but KI has a flyer (granted its not B&M) and they don't stand out because of it.

^ I agree. A flyer is not really as noticeable as Top Thrill Dragster or Magnum. Flyers are really a waste of space. It is to much like an inverted roller coaster.

IMO, Cedar Point is wise to stay away from flyers. They really seem like a fad. I've personally never ridden one I was comfortable on, although I 've never been on Tatsu. I suspect the design will end up, in terms of staying power and lasting appeal, closer on the spectrum to stand-ups than, say, inverts.

Flyers have been around for a little while now. I really like the looks of Manta, something like that right next to the water at CP would be killer in my opinion.
