Awesome photos! Thanks for keeping everyone updated on construction. I love how this coaster will be visible from pretty much anywhere in the park.

Love all the photos! I've never quite realized how tall and how steep this coaster is. It might be one of the steepest B&M lift hills.

^ I think B&M Dives might be steeper.

Yeah, I think the Dive Coasters are 45 degree lifts if I remember correctly.

What are those things?

Transfer track wheels.

Those actually are for the maintenance shed. Those wheels are positioned right down the center of the trains so that they will balance on them when in storage. The reason for this is so that the trains wheels do no develop flat spots and thus create a rougher ride.

Wow, Gatekeeper looks really pretty. It makes Raptor look like crap not just in height, but in color and shape. Sorry Raptor fans :)

Yes, that's why they painted the supports white.

The problem is that it has just as many places as Raptor does for birds to rest and crap wherever they please. The GOOD thing about Gatekeeper is its white supports that won't show white seagull poop as easily. The only thing that can't be protected is the blue track.

Well, the trains run on the blue track. So, when the park is open, we don't have to worry about it. Plus, most of the seagull crap on Raptor is on the supports.
