Do you think Cedar Point will build a new record breaking coaster?

Wait a second. Millennium Force is a record breaking roller coasters and is my favorite along with a lot of others. Magnum XL-200 was a record breakers. So was Mantis and Raptor. A lot of these record breakers are great roller coasters too and if Cedar Point decides to go for another one then more power to them. But if they do, then I hope that in addition to that record that the coaster can run consistantly.

As much as I do want a record breaker, I will go with Jeff and say wait. Let them think for a while, and get a really good idea thought up before building it. It should be a coaster that will have minimal down-time, or at least like MF.
Let the next coaster we get be something fun and exciting and leave the 500+footer for 08 or 09.
At least then we can hope that technology advances some more especially for a large scale coaster like a 500+footer.

I would love to see a flyer in Frontier Town. Maybe they could make it the tallest and fastest flyer!!

I agree with TTD 120. If we build the first 500 foot coaster in 2007, we will have another coaster like Top Thrill Dragster. Don't get me wrong, this year has been Top Thrill Dragsters best year thus far, but will need some work on it after this season. I would rather see something big come as maybe the tallest floorless coaster. I wouldn't mind seeing a B&M Flying coaster as well. I know I keep saying Lets go after a Flyer first, but I finally started to discover the Flyers more and they would be a great addition to Cedar Point.

I would rather have the tallest and fastest floorless rather than the tallest and fastest roller coaster.

In my opininion the only -est Cedar Point should be concerned about in the near future is the best.

It seems as if their is a wide open spot for the best wooden rollercoaster or dark ride at the point.

First off, hi, this is my first post after reading multiple topics. Nevertheless, whatever CP decides to do for the upcoming seasons, two things should happen.

1) Whatever the rides are, they need to be put in Frontier town

2) reliability is key. If the ride does not run, the people won't come

If they go and buy Six Flags, Cedar Fair investers may not
be ready to invest lots of money for a new ride.
