Fear Faire

Got the Getaway Guide today. There is a very quick blurb about the new Halloweekends Fright Zone called Fear Faire - "Putting the Dark in the Dark Ages." Sounds like it should be another interesting addition to Halloweekends. I just wonder where it will be.

From what I've heard, near the front of the park. Although, its hard to say exactly where it would fit.

Where I have heard it will be doesn't make much sense if you consider their "rules" for placing a Fright Zone.

A couple folks are saying here that it'll be near the front of the park. Although this could be bogus info.

EDIT - - Sorry for the double-post. I just realized I pretty much said what I already said above. I have a tendency to repeat myself. I have a tendency to repeat myself. ;)

where they are putting it would make people have to go through it to get to the meanstreak and to the train station--i don't seem them wanting to make people do that, with the fright zone you have another way around it if you want to get to the back

No. There is an area (albeit small) between the Antique Cars "island" and the old WWL site that could be used. It wouldn't block off anything. It will be interesting to see where they put it, because that does not seem to be the place I would think it would go.

Front of the park is right, and if it's going where I've heard it's going, it does meet the "rules" for Fright Zone placement, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to put in the afformentioned spot IMO.

I didn’t really like the spot they picked. But after hearing more about it, I like it. I don’t think you will be disappointed once you hear about it Chris.

Pay no attention to the pic in that thread. Read the thread.

Could this be why they are opening up Lotsapolooza and maybe that midway at the front of the park again?

Nope

Ehh, good guess though right? ;)

Good guess, but I wouldn’t look at the most obvious of places for it.

I would imagine the Blue Streak midway would work well.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

Except that then access to 3 rides and a restaurant is blocked off. I don't think they are going to put it there. I have my ideas about where it is going and if I'm right it will be interesting to see how/if it works.

I get this crazy feeling the guests will be eating their lunches elsewhere this fall. (Thanks, Gatt.)

People are finally starting to think outside the box.

Or outside the park as the case may be.
