Fog???

hehe...what's that in the webcam right now...fog over the first hill? Do they stop the ride for that? :)

Most rides have to worry about wind...this one has to worry about low clouds... ;)

Normally they do not close a ride due to fog. One of my favorite memories is riding MANTIS on a low cloud day, at the top of the hill, you were above the cloud and the only things you could see were the tops of Power Tower, MAGNUM and MEAN STREAK, all standing on a "pillow" of cotton. I wish I had a camera (if it was legal :) ).

There is a lot of fog around the toledo, cleveland, and sandusky area. They do not close rides for fog.
I live about two hours away from CP, and this morning there was fog, and the visibility (accoriding to the weather man on 13 Action News) in Findlay(close to where I live) was 660 feet this morning. Nevertheless, school was not cancelled. Damn!

I had a delay, and saw the webcam at 7:15 in the morning, and that was the most beautiful thing I have seen this entire winter and spring. (Except Natalie Portman, and many other girls;))
Heck the fog was all the way over here in northern Indiana. It was pretty bad until the sun came up. No school delay. Damn!
I think Oregon schools, outside of Toledo was like the only one not to have a school delay today on the second of May. (Happy Birthday, mom!) But it would be cool to ride MF on a foggy day, but then again, you can barley see the track from the crest of the first hill (so the pics seem) so I think fog would make me even more nervous!

The more you ride it, the more you want it!

Toledo schools had MANY delays.
