Get the VIP Treatment...

So how does everyone feel about the $350 per person CP package deal you can buy now...

I'm wondering how well this will actually sell...

If I had the money I might do it. But only if I were there during the very busy part of the season.

I dunno. The idea is cool, and if I had the extra money I might do it, but there's something about it that rubs me the wrong way. I don't know if it would feel like a "real" day at the Point without having to wait in line. I'd almost feel like a snob.

But, I'd be a happy snob whose feet don't hurt! :)

Having a season pass and parking pass, the only big perk of it for me would be front of the line access.

I just think $350 per person is a hefty fee, especially if your party has less then 4, there is a extra fee.

But, if you got the money to spend, might as well enjoy it.

Yeah, I hated when you had the freeway stamps and people would bombard you with dirty looks as you slid into line in front of them, then go ahead and talk about you when you're standing right in front of them.

I'll be missing freeway, but power-riding with Joe cool as much as I can.

The price point is probably that high so as to minimize how many people use it.

What exactly is a "Personal Cedar Point escort?"
I could imagine that getting annoying real fast.

The Amazement Park

This VIP treatment has been around. A representative from marketting or Supervision/Management escorts the VIP guests around the park and up ride exits.

...it's usually Celebrities/Sports stars that use it. Though there were occasions last year where it was just people that wanted to do it and could afford it. Though last year, I believe it was $1,400 for a group of 4, and not per person.

I like how you seperated celebrities and sports stars. ;-) "Who's Lebron James, anyway?"

Speaking of Celebrities at CP. I was working at the Grand Prix Race track in '02 when Drew Carey and his possee came to ride the karts. He's actually smaller in person than he looks on tv, but he still barely fit in the go-kart. He seems like a nice guy, but made fun of me because I said the spiel too fast.....LOL, that's what happens when you say the spiel 100 times a day.
