Getaway Guide

I was wondering if anyone got there Getaway Guide yet? I can't believe it, but I got mine today and I think this is the earliest I have received it. I allways hope I get it before coastermania which I usually do.

A few others have mentioned receiving them.

Do they only send them to SP holders? Or can you order one from cp.com?

Brandon

I have always had to E-mail CP for mine. I am a season pass holder and sign up for it, but I never get it. Maybe it will change this year.

I just got mine today. Its got kind of a boring setup this year. I do like the Cover and Wicked Twister photo though about 1/2 way through it. They need to take some new photos though some of those they have used every year for at least a couple of years now.

I completely agree with you Cory. I like the cover and pretty much only the cover. Inside there is just nothing that jumps out at you.

I think that you have to live a certain distance away from the park to be eligable to get it.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

I got mine on Friday.

I recieved my Getaway Guide Saturday, March 18, 2006.

I like the cover, too. I really like the coupon where I am able to save $2 on each person (up to 4 people)at the Midway Market Buffet. Yep, I'm a tightwad.

Take Care,

Trent

Haven't received mine yet... I thought they started sending them out in April?

I got mine. Boring.

They need a change.

The lucky thing about getting the Canadian edition is that it has the normal cover, plus another Canadian edition cover. Last year's cover with Raptor, PT, and TTD was a bit dull IMO, but the Canadian one was taken of Mantis facing south-east of the inversions showng the train and Power Tower. There are a bunch of trees in the picture. It looked really nice. I look forward to seeing this year's Canadian cover.

MrScott they put a celebrity in the Getaway Guide! Didn't you see him?

I received my Getaway Guide on Friday or Saturday (I'm not sure I was out on a business trip and my parents opened it up). I totally agree about the boring part of the guide, I was looking forward to a totally revamped booklet. However, it was just the same thing as the past few years.

Smoking Marijuana isn't a bad thing or even a good one, like everything else, its what you make of it.

Got mine today, and I guess this year they decided not to do the 'Special Savings for Canadians' cover.

No, Ben. I didn't see him. Who is it and on what page?

Are you talking about Tony?

At least the exchange rate is amazingly high.
