I got a fix yesterday, but it didn't help...

Well, I got to ride some coasters yesterday for the first time since the summer of '98. I went to my home park, Six Flags Over Texas with my girlfriend and her sister. The trip had two purposes. 1) I needed a coaster fix...BAD!! 2) My girlfriend is a coaster newbie and she's going to CP with me this summer, so I needed to get her broke in. The trip was great. The crowds were light, but now I'm longing for CP even more. I rode the Texas Giant thinking of Mean Streak (I like the Giant's ride better, but I just think MS is a beautiful coaster). I rode Batman: The Ride thinking of Raptor. I haven't ridden Raptor since '95, but Batman comes nowhere close! It was nice to get on a B&M inverted, but it just doesn't run like Raptor. I still enjoyed it though. Oh, well, basically what I'm getting at is that I canNOT wait until July when I get back to CP for the first time in 5 years and get to ride my favorites and maybe have some new favorites. C'mon July!!!!!
Boy I guess your wait is not 57(somewhere around there) days till CP opens. You just might still be in the triple digits.

Welcome back Millennium Force riders...We all want to know how was your RIDE!!!!!
Yeah, tell me about it! :( Major disadvantage of living in Texas! I'll just have to use up my SF season pass to tide me over. Each time I ride Batman I'll just have to imagine green track about another 40 feet in the air and the view of the midway when coming off the lift. I just can't wait to ride that big, blue monster up there!!!
