If you are really bored...

One thing I have been wondering about for a few years is the picture of Power Tower on the cover of the 1998 information/brochure thingy shows both on the main picture and the inset one that the riders are riding 3 on a side on each tower, yet on Power Tower, tower seats the riders 2 on 2 sides then 4 on the other 2 instead of 3 on each side. Why do you think they made the Picture this way? ( I know this is an old thing but i just found this site like 2 weeks ago)

Yeah... that's boredom creeping in! Seriously though, since S&S Space Shots and Turbo Drops are so common, it's often easier to produce marketing materials with photos from other rides. That way you don't have to wait for the ride to be finished. I forget which park, but one of the other Cedar Fair parks building their own "Power Tower" used a Dan Feicht (the CP photog) photo of one car peaking from the perspective of the other car peaking simultaneously across from it.

If I remember correctly the insert on Power Tower is Detanator at Worlds of Fun.
yeah, now that i look closer that isnt cedar point in the background on that insert. thanks
