Thank you, Gomez, for setting everyone straight... I was also going to suggest that the "bump" felt was the second train stopping in the brakes just before lift 2. That whole lift shakes when this happens!
Iron Dragon is by no means an unpopular ride. In a typical day it will put just as many (if not more) riders through the turnstile as Corkscrew, Mantis, Mean Streak, Wicked Twister... heck even Dragster. It has one of the highest capacities in the park. It doesn't have a long wait because that line (and crew) hauls booty. Trains dispatched every 40 seconds or so. It needs that third train.
