I’m surprised Candy isn’t working at the Tea House tonight 🤔

T shirts at the Pagoda gift shop are $5. When I checked out with my I don't even know how many shirts at 9:15 there was still a good amount of shirts but at that point I think people were just realizing the sale was going on. I got tipped off to it by CP Rundown's post on facebook. There were also Peanuts 2019 CP shirts for $5 at Snoopy Boutique and the Halloween Snoopy clothing was 50% off. Candy in all shops I went in was 75% off. Most of the GateKeeper shop was 50% off. Been a few years since I caught a sale coming anywhere near to competing with this. We must be in for a good amount of new designs next year.

I got 2 shirts at the Pagoda. Friend (Bob) that I was with got 26 shirts.

What in the world would anyone need with 26 cheap 2019 Cedar Point tshirts?

Probably someone who had been purchasing a Platinum Pass for years and dropped down to Gold Pass this year. With the pass savings, the 26 shirts were a little over $1 each.

26 shirts, he was getting multiples as we were going thru them, as additional Christmas presents for family that wanted CP tees.

I just counted up all my sale shirts for the night I think I was at the 26 or 27 mark too. You can barely buy a plain colored T shirt at Walmart for $5 so why NOT get 26 Cedar Point shirts at $5 each? Would be different if they were all very plain cheapest of the cheap to begin with but there was a very wide variety of designs and sizes when I was there. I'm sure he doesn't plan to wear them all personally and the ones I bought will be spread across 5 or 6 people. I even had a family member see the sale was going on from the CP Rundown post and text me because she knew I was there so I got her some in her desired size also. 26 T shirts yesterday came to the same amount of money as if we had all bought ourselves 1 or 2 shirts at regular price. The time to splurge was last night.

Were the retro shirts on sale as well?

Enjoying the Ohio park on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie since the mid-1970s!

Sweet thanks everyone, about to head up now! Hopefully you all saved me some!!

Side question, where would you recommend to go to find the the biggest selection of patches in one spot?

Like any real enthusiast, he only needs to do laundry once a month. Showering is still optional.

Not really I did find a particular style Blue Streak shirt and my son found a few retro-ish logo shirts but the retro collection they've been putting out last 2 seasons with the past rides was not included that I could tell. I realized I missed the very back of Pagoda by the back door so unless they were hiding back there no.

There was also a good assortment in the shop across form Dragster to the right as you walk in. There is usually a good amount at Park Plaza also but I specifically noticed them at Dragster yesterday.

^I noticed an enormous number of patches on the back of a womans jeans jacket going thru Eerie Estate. Hope you enjoyed it!

I sure did that's my favorite one and it was nice meeting you. My oldest son went through first while me and my younger son rode Blue Streak and then on the way to meet back up a couple gave us their unused Fright lane lanyards so my boys hit every haunt in the park and I went though Eerie Estates since my oldest had already been though by himself. Between all the sale shirts and free Fright Lane we had a pretty lucky evening last night.

Check the expiration dates on the candy if you care about that sort of thing. I saw lots of July & August dates last night.

My Skittles said best if used by August. They tasted fine. I don't know what date was on my son's Combos but they were fine too. Just don't save any of it for a long time before you eat it.

Give it out to the neighbor kids you don't like Thursday night.

I hand out all my extra Taco Bell hot sauce and assorted other condiments packets.

edit: I don’t really do this, but it is my “trick” for the older kids. I have big bowl and tell them they can pick two. The look on some of their faces and hesitating arms is just priceless.

My older kids still trick or treat but around our little town people don't really seem to question it so long as you have taken the time to put together a decent costume lots of teens still roaming around in costume. Lots of adults are really into it too though lots of lawns with a lot of effort put into the decoration I think adults that into it are more welcoming of older kids. At least one of mine would actually be happy with Taco Bell sauce packets. They need to start bottling Diablo and selling it in the stores with the others so my mom can retire from her life of crime stealing Diablo packets for her grandson.

I hit the sales again but with the hubby in tow this time and he picked out a few more shirts for himself and my boys picked out some more shirts and we got some for some other family members and I got a size list to get all my great nieces and great nephews 2019 Peanuts shirts. I actually don't even know how many shirts I've bought at this point. Since I have no plans to become a nudist the shirts aren't going to go to waste.
