Loose articles on rides

If that is indeed the policy, then what they are saying is that it's a judgement call that can vary from day to day, which is problematic.

It's all about having "the best day ever", right? Well, if you're the teenage boy who got the park to shut down an entire ride for 20 minutes just so they could retrieve your broken phone, I guess you leave the park at least thinking..."boy, what a great park to shut down a whole coaster just for me!".

But let's say the next week, someone else who was in that line loses their phone and gets the usual line; that they can't possibly shut down a whole ride just for a phone. That person leaves the park thinking, "what a bunch of a-holes...they did it for a kid but they won't do it for me"?

I know this goes down the road of "if I ran the park", but I'm really shocked that the park as a whole does not have a policy that says that under no circumstances will a ride be locked out and shut down to retrieve an item lost by a guest that is not a life-dependent situation (like an epi-pen. etc...).

I can't even talk a ride op into letting my daughter ride Charlie Brown's wind-up two times in a row without leaving the swing if there is no one in line (you know, "marathoning" a la Camp Snoopy), and this can simply be a subjective call on the part of the ride team leader?

Thanks for asking. It makes no sense to me whatsoever, but at least you got an answer.

Oh cool dude. Good question to ask. ;)

Thank you Shawn, but to be fair I got the idea to ask from here.

Kevin, I agree that them not letting rerides in general is kinda dumb, but during CoasterMania! they were allowing it on Raptor in the morning and Magnum/Maverick at night

CP Top 5: 1) Steel Vengeance 2) Maverick 3) Magnum 4) Raptor 5) Millennium

They were giving re-rides on Valravn Friday during morning ERT. We were riding in the front row when we returned to the station they said if we wanted to ride again take a seat in row 2 or 3. We took seats in row 2, when we returned to the station again we didn't even have to move. Three rides in a row and could have had a fourth.
