MaVerick Song

Does anybody know what song they are playing for Maverick, that is some of the coolest music ever. Hit me up when you find it thanks!

I Was Born To Play BaseBall!

It was likely either written for the ride/promo, or it is one of thousands and thousands of songs that are released to be used copyright free when you purchase them.

I might be wrong, but I thinking that this song is in the movie Back to the Future Part 3. It sounds really familiar.

I don't know what it is, but the Magnificent Seven theme is close enough for the purposes that I wanted it for until they release it like the MF music.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

This thread will not last long. Walt said that due to copyright reasons this music can not be posted...

I though walt said if we found the source of the mp3 then it could be posted? Maybe i am wrong...

It's not from Back to the Future Part III.

Jeff Young

I do agree, it is pretty cool.

There are 2 types of computer users in the world; those that back up often, and those that have never had a hard drive fail.

When I said source, I meant if someone found the company that sold the song on a royalty-free CD, assuming it even came from such a CD. That's what happened when someone found the music from the former laser show. What's wrong is offering the audio yourself for download.

But this is right off the park's web site. Not sure what I can do about that.

Is the park making it available for download? Or does the file happen to be available because the webpage needs it to play the music.

Just because the file is there doesn't mean it is ok to download it. They haven't linked to it and said "Here's our cool music".

Wait a minute. You mean I can't download the entire CP website, change the title to djDaemon Point, and publish it as my own?

Poppycock, I say!

No they haven't Jugga, but they could have made it so it was unavailable to link directly to if they didn't want people playing/downloading it.

On a side note, I went and downloaded Magnificent Seven's theme and it's great. It's pretty close to what is used for Mav but it really makes no difference. I just wanted it because it was cool.

Ride on, MrScott!

Another that is slightly similar (in the fact that it sounds "Western" is John Williams' "The Cowboys." It came from the movie "The Cowboy and the Girl."

Anyone else keep thinking of the A-Team theme song when they here the maverick music? I hope they play it the queue.

"In 2007 a crack commando unit and an unbranded horse were sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men and the horse promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you're at least 48" tall - maybe you can hire: The M-Team."

Inky - you've got too much time on your hands.

We should get some stickers, and "brand" the gold train "B.A."

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a new project
They're building up at Cedar Point,
It's called the Maverick...

Sorry. Couldn't help myself. I'm past due for my injection.
