Mean Streak
Did Mean Streak open on time for the season? It sucks or PKI fans that the SOB has not opend on time.
I didn't do opening day back then, but it has been reported on this very discussion group that Mean Streak *did* open on time, but without its full complement of trains.
That said, bear in mind that Kings Island's opening is a full month earlier than Cedar Point's.
As long as Sonny is open on or before Memorial Day, Kings Island will be fine. And my understanding is that Sonny should be open *well* before then.

Why do people keep taking it upon themselves to tell Jeff when to close a thread? This board has moderators for a reason. They are the ones who decide when to close a thread. Maybe this thread should be closed, but that is up to them to decide.
Personally I am fan of CP history and I like to know little odd facts like these. Bad call Jo.

Two things:
1. Telling me to close threads is irritating, and I grow tired of it. Saying a thread should be closed doesn't make you cool, give you favorable status, etc. All it does is create noise on the board and occupy hard drive space I'd rather use for something else.
2. Some of you who make said posts are the worst offenders of creating noise in the first place. Leave moderation to the moderators.
