New construction markings?

I love roller coasters as much as the next guy! but... In my opinion cedar point needs a few more thrill rides for the whole family. This would still defend their title of more rides than any other park. I think a Huss Top spin or Giant Top spin would work well. Im sure that cedar point will still go the length to break any records that they can.
I guess that we just have to sit back, watch, and wonder what will be to come. (if anything) *** Edited 7/15/2005 1:13:23 AM UTC by cedarpoint24/7***

TopThrill420120, I'm right there with ya.
Can't wait for graduation in 07. :)

I say we all have a vote on what CP should get and let them deside if they what to get it, build it, and buy it. Then they can see what there guest want and if the lines should be packed with people waiting.

I vote for a floorless coaster:)

Flyer because I think they can make a good one.

101 on Magnum and counting...

I think a nice fast and tall coaster is nice but not like TTD. Maybe a nice flip too. :d

I would like a flyer because like X-Flight, I love that sensation of flying. CP could build a nice big one that feels faster. That would be great.

Thrills Around the Corner!

This was brought up on coasterbuzz but not hear. But my brother was there and he saw the stakes by CCMR by the station.

I do not believe to a new wooden, diving or flying roller coaster for next year. Rather, I guess that Cedar Point has a water roller coaster in store. This would make sense since the marks reported in this forum are located near other water rides and that a CP's manager has said in an interview, early this season, that a water ride had been planned before they decided to build maXair. I would not be surprised to learn that this water ride has only been postponed to the next year.

I'd like to see a coaster and flume ride integrated together. Their interweaved structures could make for some awesome head choppers.

Yes, but what KIND of water ride?

TTD 120mph & TopThrill420120: More 07's, huh? :D

I guess it's of no consolation to those of you who are hoping for a water ride, but I have had information concerning this ride since back in 04, even before TTD thrilled its first riders. I learned about it from a close friend of mine, whose job at CP I will not disclose. I won't say anything more except this: No Vekoma.

And his last.....does it really matter.

I'm going to say something profound that I heard through my various connections with people who like the park: No Arrow.

That's all I've got to say.

Does anyone know if Intamin has built their launched water flume for any park yet? It has been on their website for at least a couple years.

The scrapped the idea, the chlorinated water hurt to much when the test riders got hit with pieces of wire.

I personally would not like to see a flyer. They just don't grab my attention that much. It doesn't really matter what type of ride Cedar Point gets because they are always great in my opinion. If I had to choose I would either pick a floorless coaster breaking the inversion record ;) or a wonderful woody like something at holiday world. Something around 200 ft would be sweet.
