NEW Maverick Mock-up

ok wasnt sure, but how do you get the updates for rct3, because I cant find out how to do it.

go to the rct3 directory in all programs and look for search for updates.Or just put the disc in and it'll come up on the auto load

What about online upgrades?

thanks drummerboy

Dragon you can do that too but sometimes it's hard to find the most current one.The one I told him is the quickest way in my opinion.

Hey zbusta how much difference is there between No Limits and RCT3.Never played No Limits

well I have both RCT3 and NoLimits and yes there is a huge difference! RCT3 only allows you certain degrees of track whereas Nolimits is kinda like a CAD program where you design your track using vertices and setting the exact angle, roll, and pitch of each turn that you desire. It does take some practice and getting used to but when you know how to work the program there is No limit,:) to what you can do! It also comes with a simulator that shows the 3D POV and other angles as seen on the videos. Everything is changeable in nolimits and, like in RCT3, you can get pretty much any camera angle you want.

thanks Z i'll have to check it out

Sweet video.

Maverick perhaps? I wanna RIDE ON.

It's a really cool mock up, it has more imagination and vision that I hope become reality. Two trains going at once? Nice!

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!

Wow that video looks really awesome. Great Job dude!

You Tube's down :(

^GB93,Be very patient, Its a little tough at first but as you go along you'll get better. If you think a turn isn't smooth make sure to use all angles to look at the track to make sure that it follows the desired line that you want it to follow. I use the 3d view and use the W and S keys to go back and forth along the track to check that it is a smooth turn and change the vertices according to how I want the turn to be by tweaking the angle of the of the vertice lines. The first couple of trys you may not get the desired path you wanted but, like i said, BE PATIENT:) and try try try again, I think that is the best advice I can give you. And another thing that is cool is that they have premade track elements like corkscrews, loops, and helixes and so forth that you can tweak to your desired effect. just go to FILE, INSERT ELEMENT and there is a whole list of track elements you can use and play around with!. If you have any questions in particular just ask. :)

Ah...its much better to make your own elements. You can almost never get it to be an extremely smooth transition betweek your track and the prefab element...they're good at first, but then get used to making your own.

hey its lookin like the mock up already. ;) http://www.pointbuzz.com/gallery/5524.jpg *** Edited 9/4/2006 2:57:25 AM UTC by Zbusta***

I know you put alot of work into that great piece of work, why havent you tried to up date it to what screamscapes claims the coaster will be like. I have to admit I like yours alot better

If i updated it to the model that screamscape has, that certainly wouldn't be hard. I would actually have to take elements out to make it to what that model shows. So maybe i will but i think i will find out what it actually is before i go and do that. I think it would be pretty easy. Last night I put the tunnel on the launch section to see what that would be like....eh nothing special. But what screamscape did say is that is was going to have a low to the ground heartline roll so if that is correct I was right on that anyway, but I am not taking that as a definite possiblity yet, but it looks fun though doesn't it? I WILL update the track and post it on youtube when we find out what its really gonna be! Hope I wont have to change much...except my little typo on "Zbusta presents". :)

I'm thinking that won't be entirely necessary, Zbusta. CP usually has an on-ride simulation when the ride is announced. There was one for MF, WT (although broken up with simulated b-roll footage), and TTD.

Zbusta, regardless of what the official layout ends up being, that was a truly exceptional production!!

Thanks so much for sharing that with us!
