New Merchandise

A friend of mine who works in merchandise at Dorney was telling me about some of the new merchandise they are getting and he said some of the items are going to be company wide at all of the Cedar Fair parks. One of the big items that he mentioned was that CF got permission from the ride manfuactuer's to make die cast models of the coaster trains. He mentioned Talon, Steel Force, Magnum, MF and Dragster. Similar to what Disney does with all of their rides. The models will be scale size 1:18 and will probably retail for $24.9 each. The other cool item he said that was coming was personlized photo albums. Each park will have its own special album with the park logo on it the cover and the front and back cover will have random pictures of the park's coasters on it. The albums will hold 200 pictures and will be of the highest quality.

I liked the Cedar Point-opoly. That was such a fun idea...plus, it's something I can actually use, not just something to set somewhere and watch slowly collet dust.

I can see the photo album, but the models remind me of what today is;)

Drunks and losers,
Dwarves with limps,
Flos and ho's and one-eyed pimps!

Sounds cool! I'd buy a Magnum train.

If this is the annual GTTP April Fools' thread it kinda sucks. The Magnum paint job a few years ago was best. :)

Slowly collect dust? Man with 2 Great Danes with severe dander problems everything is covered with a layer of dust a couple days after cleaning. Slowly? I wish. But the models sound awesome and the photo album could be cool too, to bad I'm switching to digital this year so all my pics will be on my 'puter...

But then again, what do I know?

April fools joke or not, if they are coming out with die-cast models there's no doubt in my mind that I'm getting the Dragster's train.
Ooh! Ooh! Do you think they'll put the theming on the TTD models? I hope so! Then it would be AWESOME! I won't ride TTD without the dragster slicks and spoiler!!

<<<We now return to reality where I don't give a rat's @ss whether TTD's trains are themed or not. It's an amazing ride regardless.>>>

But then again, what do I know?

What Dan forgot to mention is that there will also be limited edition Dragster Trains with removable tires. ;)

I just remembered something really freaky. I had the same idea about die-cast model collectibles yesturday. I guess I'm psychic. I might start predicting the future or something. lol :)

38 days and counting!!!!!
TTD 120mph, if you're psychic could you tell me how the lines will be at CP for the week of 6/13? Also, will TTD be running?

But then again, what do I know?

Your in luck Shane Denmark because the 13th of June is close to my birthdate and I have a feeling that the lines will be around 2 to 2.5 hours long on the 13th, but will go by fast. As long as you get there early you will have no problem. Oh yeah, TTD will run, and better than last year.

I also see you winning the lottey!

This has been TTD 120mph, you sight into the future.

For Better or For Awesome!

TTD 120mph you've made my trip planning so much easier. Now I can plan my time in the park almost down to the minute. Another question. Hows the weather gonna be? Oh, and how much is that lotto jackpot? I hope I don't have to split it 10,000 ways like in Bruce Almighty...

<<<Doesn't know how to make the winky face, so ;)>>>

But then again, what do I know?

Would that be a moment of serendipity right there?

Shane Denmark, My nose has been running on and off so maybe it will rain on and off on some days. And as for that lottery thing, it's going to be one of the scratch offs and will only be $5.

Sorry.

I LOVE Dorney's merchandise, and even inquired to why they have the coolest merchandise and CP doesn't. One of my favorite items is a Talon frame that has a moveable Talon train on the top of the frame and a stationary one on the bottom. The picture sits inside an invert and on the bottom it says "Talon". Their Steel Force one was pretty cool too. I also liked their limited edition coin set that has a coin for all the coasters. Pretty cool stuff!!!

I have been trying to behave myself so far with buying CP stuff, least till OD, but you can bet I will have to have at least one of the die cast models.

There goes my $$ again!! Thank goodness I've got a barrel racer who is kicking some SERIOUS cans and bringing in some serious $$!!! :)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)

Sweet!! I know how to make faces after all... :) ;) :))
