New Shows Listed On Website!

If you look at the picture CP rundown captured and compare it to the current site, you can see that they were definitely not finalized yet on the first posting. Snoopy's Dog Days of Summer got changed to Peanuts Block Party, and Lusty Lil's Wild West Revue was changed to Lusty Lil's French Revue.

Fire and Ice is really replacing Luminosity and continues the emphasis on the beach. I'm guessing the new stage will be probably be fairly open so it can be viewed from the midway and from the new boardwalk on the beach side.

I'm also hoping they do some clean up at the Celebration Plaza since that area won't be hosting as large of a show anymore. The bleacher setup there was always a bit of an eyesore, dating back to when Wildcat was removed just prior to opening the park in 2012.

I'm not sure how much of a change to the Celebration Plaza they can make this year, at least with the physical structures. The stage can probably be reduced in size, but the audio/video tower isn't going anywhere. For the most part bleachers are always going to be an eyesore, unless they can be built into a hillside, which CP doesn't have. I would guess that next year they may make some real physical changes to their stages. Hopefully providing one for All Wheels Extreme and a complete redesign for the Celebration Plaza if it is to remain a show venue. Trying to get through there when Luminosity was going was quite a slog.
