Typically, how busy is the park on the opening weekend- particularly Sunday. I want to go opening weekend with friends, but I don't want to spend the day waiting in line.
You will likely spend your day in line. I went last year opening day and it was less busy than a saturday in August but the weather was cool and overcast although it got sunny later. Plus it was a Sunday that was also Mother's day. Plus there were no major new rides. All of these factors lead me and pretty much everyone else to believe it will be much busier this year, unless the forecast is heavy rain all day which might keep a lot of people away. I will be there on opening day, but all I really care about is riding Millennium Force a couple of times. If you are going that day, I would suggest that you set your expectations appropriately. You will NOT be able to ride averything in the park that day, (unless weather is factor) but you should be able to ride all major rides if you plan to be there all day. Also plan to be there when they open in the morning in order to get a couple of good hours in before the crowds really start to swell.

if your still going despite the long lines on opening weeekend then you should go to the stragey section of this website it will give you great tips on how to hit all 14 coasters in one day! This helped me, hope it helps you too.
Well as with most days the attendence depends largely on the weather. The worst situation would probobly be clear skys and in the 70's. Im sure that would be a big-crowd day.
