The keyhole looks amazing!!!

When was it stated that 20% of it would be concrete and the rest would be steel and would serve as a support? If you cold provide a link, that would be great too.

Looking forward to more pictures. Maybe there are other projects going on there that might be captured that B&M hasn't announced.

Most impressive.

Promoter of fog.

It was stated on the GOCC tour that the bottom portion of the keyhole towers were to be poured concrete and the upper sections designed by B&M and fabricated at the Clermont plant. B&M was concerned about the element that the park wanted and the result is what we will be getting. A support structure that maintenance will be able to inspect the ride daily and something that will be able to be covered and blend in with the new structure. I don't know if anyone has video of him stating this or not.

That information has been known for well over a month now.

The keyholes are HUGE. Much bigger than I expected.

That is an awesome picture of the key hole towers. I wonder what the towers are made of besides steel. Would Jeff knows since he was there today.

Blood, sweat and tears perhaps? lol Nah, it's most likely all steel. :)

what is the antenna for on the top of each tower? the rendering shows this, I mean, if they are going to put those there, of course.

Lightning rods would be my guess.

I would think those antenna would be for wi fi.

Could be the flashing lights that are required on all tall structures.

Those are most likely lightning rods since both towers are steel and are some pretty good conductors. Plus, a wifi tower wouldn't be just a rod sticking in the air (correct me if I'm wrong). Google wifi towers and I think you'd agree that it would not look good on those keyholes.

And anyway, any kind of signal device would be installed at the top of Windseeker or the water tower.

Well I do know that added Verizon 4G to the WindSeeker tower. It was posted on the "Ok, Ok alright" page before it was deleted.

That's actually not for Gatekeeper. They're just making a Stargate. :)

The photos you see are all I took. The rest of what I captured there will be video, which you'll see here, and probably a few shots on a future show on cable TV.

Words can't describe how awesome the keyhole tower is. It's just so massive. Standing in the middle, you appreciate the girth of the trains. The other tower, or pieces of it, were standing upright on its side, and I got some neat shots of a dude inside welding a section.

About two-thirds of the ride is done at this point.
