Question about taking photos

I was thinking of driving down to the park today, and taking some photos from outside the gates. My question for users of this site is whether this would be allowed, as I do not want to break the law, or anger anyone at CF. I am just curious as to if they have started any work on de-theming the park, and if so, if I could take and post photos.

Thanks,

Sam

From what my roommate said is that if it's not intruding on their property/you're not trespassing/your not in their parking lots then it's ok... if you fit under the above specs then the post will be deleted.

That's what I was told b/c someone was allowed to take pics of TTD with a scope at Marblehead, but those that snuk in and took pics behind meanstreak of one of the other rides being brought up was not allowed.

But in all seriousness I think it's how good of a mood I think Walt/Jeff are in (er uh um... :P Kidding guys, kidding)

the actual transaction is in april isn't it. there for i bet the only thing being done right now would probably be SF getting there junk out.

everyone keeps saying how cf has to get rid of the DC comics themes. i would think it would be SF deal to take it with them. they'll probably reuse it for later installments of batman, and superman rides else where i would imagine.

I was there taking pictures today. There is no reason to go onto the parking lot (which I ended up doing anyway because I didn't realize it was private property. It is across the road and all). Anyhow I got some great pics of the retracking of RWB, BD and the new support on the back spike of S:UE. Also, I made a horrible quality video of the drive/stop by.
I ended up not taking any, as the old Geauga Lake Road is now closed, and I didn't want to tresspass, as there were signs clearly stating the old road was private property. I did not notice any work done yet in taking down signs, etc., though I did see people there, while I was on the new road, out in the area where ride operations is, though I didn't turn off because I did not want to tresspass.

Can we see those pics Zak
They are still yet to be developed. Once I get them developed I'll try to find a place to put them so you can all see them.

If you are on a public road, you can take whatever pictures you want. I seem to recall the fuzz giving people some crap about that, even taking some kid's film. That's illegal. I'd sue the crap out of whichever jurisdiction did that if it were me.

What time does the water show start?

Here are the pictures I said I would get you guys. Yeah the fuzz gave me a bit of a hard time. We were on Geauga Lake Road in front of the entrance. It says on the entrance to that road that it is for drop off and other guests. I am a guest. It doesn't say anywhere that it is private property.
