Raptor survey

Just thought what all think the best seat on the raptor is? Take your pick. My choice for best seat is Back car and far right seat, Greater affect on cobra roll, and better G's at double helix.

Front right or back right... second seat right will do with long lines.

FRONT!!!! There is nothing like sitting in the front car of Raptor. It is an awsome sensation because there are no other cars blocking your view!
This is a tough question. If there was no wait for any row, I'd go front right. But then after you do front a couple of times, you need to do something else. Back right is the next pick. You get an awesome feeling on the drop, and come *real* close to the heartline support. But let's not forget back left, which lets you get air off of the heartline! So many great seats!
Back right becouse A, it's cool on the first drop and B, you don't know whats going to happen.

I would agree with Back, either outside.

I hate to be a wimp, but the only row that I CAN ride in is the first row. My brain works to hard trying to figure out where I am otherwise, and then when I do get off I can't ride the Raptor for the rest of the day. It only took me a couple of years to figure that one out.

Back seat, left side. That location gives you an awsome ride through the heartline flip and down the hill before the cobra roll.
Anywhere in the front row can't be beat on Raptor...and Mantis for that matter.
We all know that any seat on Raptor is a good seat! Given a choice, front right is a winner for view and the exotic feel of being pushed by the train. The slight amount of hang time at the crown of the lift hill allows the anticipation to build even more. Second choice has to be the back, especially on the right. You sail through the most incredible features of the track, from the crown to the cobra roll. It can really catch you off guard if you are daydreaming on your way up the hill.

Until this year I had never been in the back row. I thought that the front was better, but when I went in the back it was 10 times better because the row got pulled instead of push. This is the same way for the Mantis. For my answer I'd have to say back row right side.
CPgenius said it perfectly. I prefer getting pulled instead of pushed. It feels like the ride is going so much faster. And the right side you hang out into the midway right at the top of the lift. Front is second best too.
My thoughtas exactly.
Yea I agree with CPgenius. When you sit in the frount seat you hang over the top of the hill for a few seconds. Sitting in the back is much better because you feel the force of the train pulling you over the hill.

"Any day, is a great day, to ride a rollercoaster!"
ooh, good question...i like the front, any seat, for 2 reasons...you can see the track above you, unfolding before your eyes, a VERY cool visual, AND there is more room to stick your legs out straight in front of you, instead of folding them back like most riders do. i learned this trick on Batman.. it gives actual airtime and WAY more G's. try it this year and see what i mean. plus, i kind of like the feeling of being "pushed" on an inverted...something about it....i guess because the coaster is backwards in a way it feels more appropriate...i dunno.

"I think I scrambled my brain!!"
I would have to agree, the front seats have to be the best place to ride just for the mere fact that all can be seen... this provides a feeling that in my opinion doesn't compare to any other seat on the trains.
Back seat on the left side, talk about getting whipped!!!

I love the front...reason is, when you are going through an inversion, such as the first loop, all you can see on a nice sunny day is: blue. It is amazing! And you feel like you are in charge...when I am in the back, I feel like we are being thrown around to much, which some people like...but the front seat is for me :) *** This post was edited by Glitchey on 12/28/99. ***
Oh, besides the back mine would be the one with no line. :)
