RMC Streak Photo Update

Conversation between RMC and CP:

CP: Make sure you guys paint the whole thing.

RMC: But we have had problems with the smoothness of the trains until the paint wears off.

CP: Just paint it!

RMC: Ok gotcha.

I think they have it covered ;)

Seems like they could paint everything except the narrow strip where the wheels hit. That way it will look neat and clean even after heavy use. But any roughness here won't compare to previous versions of mean streak.

Unless they have found a way to fix the problem, which seems like a very RMC thing to do.

I don't think that is dirt or peeling paint in the MCBR drop photo. The RMC web site shows different track type pics and you can see how they leave room for a thin steel plate to cover where track joins together. The plates just weren't placed yet after that track was put into place.

The second I saw the word "Thunder" I instantly thought of the name and logo of Mean Streak. Now I'm stumped as to if the name will be incorporated or not.
