Science week?

I am a long time veteran of opening weekend. I have gone the past 8 years on the weekend. This year I cannot make it and will be there the Monday thru Wednesday afterwards. I know that the park is usually a ghost town on these days from what i have read before. Does anyone know how math and science week is going to affect this? I don't believe I have ever gone up when this was going on. Is it usually crazy busy with kids or will the park still more than likely be empty? Thanks

Expect it to be busy with kids. I've been a couple of times during science week and its not a ghost town at all. Surprisingly busy.

This is our annual week at the park every year. Yes, it's true that this is science week, but I wouldn't use the word busy to describe it. Not to mention that the the vast majority of the kiddos also leave the park at 5.

Will it be a ghost town? No, but it's certainly not busy.

If you plan to be there all day, you'll get your ghost town from about 5:30 - close.

And say hi. I'll be there all week. :) I'm taller in person.

Thanks for the replies. I will have to make sure I wait for the front car for everything so I don't get hit with a protractor or something lol. I made the mistake last year of staying until close on Columbus day. I try to steer clear of the park from the end of June till late august.
