Service Car.

In the new construction update he says that he rode the service car that runs along side of the track up to the top. Now if you go to the picture where it is looking through the station you can see it. It is the yellow book like thing in the front right-hand corner of the loading station. That gives us our first look at this.
The address to the picture is:

That is the booth. When in the resting position, the escape vehicle is below platform level.

Speaking of the service car, how does it acually work?? I would suspect that It would pull the train backwards into the station, but wouldnt the lock-dogs pose a problem?

The service car runs on a track parallel to the lift on the right hand side. It's basically just a bench seat in a box that moves up and down the lift. Since there are no stairs (and who would want to climb/descend stairs at a 45deg. angle anyway) they use this car to get to the top and should it happen, they'll use it for evacuation puposes.

So, what happens if the service car gets stuck?

Now that's a good question! My guess is that either there's a rope and repelling gear under each seat or the restraint doubles as a hand glider :)

I think the service car runs on atrack by the side of the real track. But that track could have stairs in the middle, so if the service car did get stuck they could climb to it.

If you look in the picture of the station looking up the hill you can see what a think is the service car. It is almost at the top, but it could be someone.

The service car's track is two rails with a few cross braces every few feet. There ain't much to it.

Yeah, I see it! It's at the very top of the track on the right side! Cool!
