Switch tracks

one way or another all roller coaster trains have to come off on most coasters it's pretty obvious but a few aren't

Blue Streak- after leaving the station the sliding track is to the left but how do you remove it from from there

Disaster Trans.- the storage tracks are out side but where do they merge the two

Jr. Gemini,Woodstock Express, Wild Cat- it's one big loop, no switch tracks

Mean Streak- cant tell but it has to be some place acsesible by crane

Raptor- it's at the end right

if anybody knows please respond thanks

Wildcat has that high-tech turntable. On some rides the trains are transferred by decoupling the cars and removing the upstops, then just winching them up or using a small crane.

Just say no to trims

I've never seen them remove trains on Blue Streak, but I suppose you could do it an several points around from the brake run to the lift. Ditto for Mean Streak (they can remove trains from the bottom of the third drop ;)).

Disaster Transport's transfer is like any other coaster. Jr. Gemini and Woodstock they can remove anywhere they want.

Wildcat does have a transfer of sorts, though it's actually a turntable between load and unload. There's a track that runs perpendicular through the middle of the ride where you can stash extra cars.

Raptor has a convenient spot at the back of the storage track.

When the ride starts, you move forward into a dark room and stop for a few seconds before moving to the lift (AKA the "Overheating" strobe scene). The track you stop on is the transfer track. It slides out to the left (through a big garage door) and to the storage area.

To get the trains off the storage track they just use a big crane to lift the whole thing.

Attached to Mean Streak transfer track building is a small track that juts out towards the lake. The transfer tracks can be lined up with this track, and the trains rolled forward, one car at a time, onto this track, for easy access by a crain.
It can't really be seen here, but it's behind the train in this picture:

I don't know exactly how it's done on Blue Streak, but I do know there is a small crane built into the roof of the building right above the transfer track.

Just after you leave the station.

Yep, it's the transfer track building right after leaving the station, as seen behind the train in the picture above.

There was a picture on the blog last year at this time of Wildcat's cars being taken off, but the pictures are screwed up on that entry so it isn't shown.

^I was trying to find that as well, it showed Raptor and WildCat. There's an entry showing TTD's trains being taken away and how WT's train is taken off as well.

I believe in the storage shed for Meanstreak the trains rest on the upstops and the main track just is not there. (This allows for easy inspection and maintenence for the train.) If blue streak has the same setup for its transfer track the trains could simply be lifted straight up, without the main rail in the middle there is nothing holding the train down on the track.

On Mean Streak, two trains are kept on the "transfer tracks," as you mentioned, while the third is stored adjacent to the other two, but on the main track.
