tell the difference between a regular and a tourist

They spend lots of money pretty much everywere. They are very entertaining to watch. They ask the funniest questions and have facts that can't be any farther from what is right. And check the map for a ride when the enterance is right there. They walk around with bags of souvinirs in the morning (isn't there a rule that says don't buy/win stuff until closing time). Best of all they are the ones that all sit and stare at a ride and say I'm not going on that while they are all ready in line for it.

Mean Streak is a ride. So why not ride it, it helps get ride of all the unesisaries in life like Cell phones, Cameras and most important conciousness.

I wear sunscreen too. I also, have my fanny pack. I wear a baseball cap for protection from the sun and the sea gulls.

Ah, tourists stand around in groups with the map, each person pointing in a different direction as they try to agree what their next move will be.

They get really excited to see there is a Subway in the park.

even though subway will raise their prices:lol:

Speaking of raising prices.....McDonald's is taking the doublecheeseburger off the dollar menu in January!

I'm too sexy for my harness!

Haha... Oh Josh.

Well after working at Mantis it's EASY to tell who is a regular and who is a tourist . Tourists tend to sit down, put lose articles in the wrong bins (usually in the closed ones) and not listen at all to employees.

Haha, that is why you yell at them and say "please put your $h*t in the correct bin" Schuyler lol

ask me for my facebook.

I wear flips, and I wear Hollister and A&F...so I'm a tourist? The worse tourists are the ones that come in a certain area to stand there and take numerous pictures or gawk at a certain something...ha, yeah, you know.

Zeek, if you wear those things, you suck. You're SO GP...

I would never wear sandals at CP. That would kill my feet. Anyways, tourists are always looking at the park maps, defining rides by color, or the girls are wearing bathing suits when they have no business wearing them...

I must agree with him on this one lol

Ugh, that's just disgusting. When will these tourists know that they have to wear baggy cargo shorts and ONLY t-shirts that they have previously purchased in the park?

Yes, no kidding. How can people afford fashionable clothes when there's money to be spent on CP merchandise?

My boyfriend calls all the ride's names using "the" in front of it. I tell him to break the habbit, but he still calls them it.

The people I hate at CP are the ones that carry the HUGE backpacks with all the unecissary junk inside them, who travel in huge groups and walk extremely slow down the midway, and the ones who galk at rides and sit on benches for 5 hours without doing anything else.....

Why? let them do what they're doing. It's their life.

Oops, did I break my false online persona? Those of you who know me, know that everything I've been saying in this topic has been sarcasm,

Magnum Regulars know who the Magnum Regulars are.

Oh and when people ask stupid questions, doesn't always mean that their tourists.. Magnum Chris and Rob are just goofy.

What is wrong with flip flops?

Are you that pissed we have to put them in the bin at MaxAir?

I ride MS every time I go! Anyway.. the regulars are the ones who get off a ride and get right back in line for the same ride. You've got all summer to do everything else.

Tourists are the ones who come in packs of about 80 wearing the same shirt that's often a repulsive combination of colors, like purple with yellow text, and says something about a grade school band trip from some no-name town in the middle of Iowa, and they all get super excited when they see each other throughout the day and start screaming across the queues to find out what the others have ridden and then get into an extensive argument about waiting for them at the exit, all the while complaining about the prices of food and the long lines. WHEW! Sorry about the run-on. ;)

A regular would look something along the lines of this....

or perhaps the gentleman sitting down...

Technically...you can put "the" in front of a ride name, because the ride itself is just a thing..
