Thanks to CP and Monty

I don't know if this is the place to do this or not, maybe other people feel the way I do as well.
I could have left it to the CP webmaster but it would probably be deleted before anyone saw it, hopefully those reports of CP people lurking here are true.

I wanted to say thanks to Cedar Point in general, the webmaster and Monty Jasper for helping make this slowest winter in history go by a little faster. Seeing construction updates and new pictures every few weeks really helped excite me for spring to come to ride MF for the first time.

CP holds a very special place in my heart and always will,I spent a lot of the best times of my life there including taking my honeymoon there the day before last opening day (the first day, then we went to Vegas but hey).

The fact that they had the webcam and diary shows me that CP is indeed different than other amusement parks, it seems to value it's patrons more than other parks like Six Flags,Paramount, etc. CP still has a family atmosphere that I have yet to find at any other place, it is a safe, clean place to go and you have no fear whatsoever in taking your wife or kids no matter how young they are up there.

That's about all I can think of now, I would send a thank you card to them but have no idea who to send it to so CP,if you are indeed lurking here, from the bottom of my heart from a devoted fan and patron THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you May 13th

I would also like to thank them for all of the Web communication, as well as the tours and photo ops, even if I couldn't use the stuff on the Web. Being there in the middle of the island is an experience that I'll always treasure! Thanks to Robin, Bryan and Janice!

I'll thank everyone for the ride itself after this weekend... so as not to have an SOB situation on my hands!

Welcome back Millennium Force riders...We all want to know how was your RIDE!!!!!
I would like to thank the webmaster for the on ride videos that were posted. And of course Jeff who spends his own time and money managing this great site for the CP lovers. :)
I too liked the update even though they are getting a little sparse here at the end.
Hint Hint
Pics of the full train on the track would be Kewl. Not just a captured web cam shot that someone saved and posted.

Yes Jeff spends time monitoring and working on this site but I think it has been mentioned before. He makes money here not spends it

The amount of pictures, videos, diary updates, etc. over the winter was just great, as was the web cam. Rob said it best in his comments above. My feeling is that even though CP is a big (biggest) park, I find that it still has some of that nice family run atmosphere that is so lacking at parks like Six Flags or Paramount. The people who run CP seem to really care about the park and it's guests, and it shows. CP is a first class operation that delivers on just about everything promised to the public. Thanks to CP for building Millennium Force. It's an astounding ride, and I hope it's a huge success for CP.
Also, we can't forget Badnitrus, who provided us with at least four unbelievable videos, two of which were POV. I also would like to thank everyone on this site, and especially those CP lurkers who check up on us to see what we want, and then provide! Thanks to Cedar Point and Cedar Fair most of all! FIVE MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to everyone at CP. They really went above and beyond the call of duty.

Monty, CPwebmaster, Badnitris, MF construction workers, and Mr. Kinzel, thanks for everything!
*and the croud goes wild*
Anyway, I think the ride is awesome, and you really have to see it upclose and personal to REALLY appreciate it. Thanks again.

I've spent $6K on software and hardware alone so the site isn't slow. I'm a LONG way from breaking even.

To the incredible staff of CP, past and present:
Each and every one of you are great individuals and deserve the highest praise for ascertaining this level of achievement. Cedar Point is simply the most perfect, most magical place in the universe, embodying our most desirable and sacred thoughts and feelings. It brightens my day to think of even being there, and brings a tear to my eye remembering growing up there every summer. Cedar Point is a part of my heart and I cherish that. Thank you for being there for me.

Now to the supreme entity of Cedar Point (heheh--and also provided you are a women)...

Jeff, $6000 of your own money! Sheez! Now I understand why you get preturbed(sp?) at people that think your making it rich off this site.

Although we don't agree on much, I take my hat off to you for running this site and keeping it top notch.

I'VE GOT TO WORDS FOR YA JEFF, AND CP.......
