the first drop.....

so far all i heard was stuff about how fast the lift is and then how fast the entire ride is.. but i havent read much about the first 300ft, 80 degree first drop, that is the thing i am looking forward to most... NathanWLB mentioned how you go so fast up the lift that you dont get that gut sensation on the first drop... maybe in the backseat though......?

TR's that I've read have said the lift sled literally "pushes" you over the top, whereas on a chain coaster there is that ever so slight, scary pause at the top

From a 1st-hand-experince.....MF REALLY pulls you over...it seems like 10 seconds from station to 122 degrees...MF IS SWEET!!!!!!!!
To tell you the truth, the huge hill wasn't the star of the show for me. The best part (IMO), as Jeff said was the raw speed you get on this thing. It does not let up. It is really remarkable.
Yes it is very fast, I'm not sure what was going on but the whole way up the hill I was yelling my butt off, then when we were going down.. I couldn't yell, and roller coasters don't scare me, its soooo much pressure on your its unbelieveable, the best drop on any coast ever! I was near the back... about the 4th car from the back, but it was so fast and steep, it felt like you were going to go back into the structure not going down.. but down and in... wow just thinking about it I CAN'T WAIT ANOTHER WEEK!!!!!
