The surrounding area

With CP building MF along the trail, did they save alot of the tree's? How does the area look? Is there alot of changes?

The trail looks the best it ever has, if you ask me. The trail's death was grossly overstated if you ask me. The only significant change is around the cross-over, and it looks great. The Pet Farm area looks nice too. The barn was moved but there isn't really any significant depletion of trees there. Even the area inside the first turn has trees. I think we'll get a better look when the leaves come back full force.

The Frontier trail suffered no ill effects by Millennium Force..The crossover/tunnel Mf has created along the footpath on Frontier trail was very well done with a beautiful "rocklike" wall that blends in perfectly with the trail..The smell of fresh cedar in the tunnel is very prevelant as well and adds to the ambiance of FTrail!! All in all CP done a wonderful job of blending in MF with the start of Frontier Trail

Exactly where is the tunnel that goes under MF? I hope you can feel/hear MF go over top of you. Do you think this tunnel will create a bottle neck in the area?

I don't know...I miss all the trees that were located behind the former candy factory (CJ's Provision)....It just doesn't look the same and the new location of the Big Wheel just throws me off now. It just one those things you expect to see when you are heading toward the back of the park.

I agree with you SkyrideChic, but the one thing I can say is what a light show behind CJ's...now I don't need a flashlight to find the door at night anymore! I think that CP did a great job on the transition, but of course there will be a few things that will always be missed by me...namely that great BBQ smell coming from the current queue line area... :(

Millennium Force will be the next to sink!
The trail is still a great place to wind down (after you get by the queue) but the area around Magnum and Gemini looks diffrent becouse you can see the banked hills, it still looks good though.
