I'm a '67 baby like Trent. After looking at the suite of attractions that came in that season, I would have to say I'm a rotor baby. You'll love me until I the floor drops out on you.

1986 - Thunder Canyon, and the year when Dick was made president and CEO.

Daniel Smith, Avalanche run was re-themed to Disastor Transport in 85'. So I guess we have you to blame for that eye sore. ;)

^ no it wasn't. Avalanche Run opened in '85... Re-themed as disaster transport in 1990...

My bad. I read this quickly: "1985: Avalanche Run (re-themed as Disaster Transport in 1990)", and thought it said that it was re-themed that year.

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

1970 - Cedar Point celebrated its centennial year. Wildcat, an Anton Schwarzkopf metal tracked coaster, opened. Bayern Kurve, Dodgem #2, Monster, Schwabinchen, Calyso, and Super Himilaya opened. Centennial Theatre opened. Kiddieland opened with 14 rides. Sealand, a large walk-through marine area that exhibited sharks, penguins, and other aquatic animals, opened on the beach.

The Disney archives were created in 1970.

The Odd Couple premiered on my birthday in 1970.
