Tragic Akron Fire

On May 15, Brittany Boggs lost her parents and five siblings in an Akron, Ohio house fire. She had recently started her summer job at Cedar Point and was not home at the time. Now she is faced with planning and paying for the funerals of seven family members. Please click the link below for more information and to contribute.

Oh, dear. :( I'll be praying for her.

I'll be praying for her too. I know that this isn't the time or place, but. ANYONE who is spiritual, religious, or goes to Church, PLEASE PLEASE pray for her!!

I hope that helps.
In the meantime, it sounds like what she could really use right now is the cash. I'm confident that after your prayers you also went to the time, trouble, and expense of making a donation.

I prayed...and paid. My $25 won't go real far...but many hands make light work. It warms my heart that she is 3/4 of the way to her ask in just 24 hours. This is a pretty significant story so I hope that Cedar Fair considers making a donation (if they haven't already).

Actually, I just looked again and she as exceeded her goal. Frankly I'm not sure she asked for enough. As a young person who now has lost everything I'm not sure fully comprehends the expenses she has in front of her.

God that is horrible. As someone who has lost everything in a fire a few years ago please help her out. Thankfully death wasn't involved in my case. Money won't help that part, but it will help her recover quicker.

Thanks for posting this Walt, I don't live in the area and never would have known.
