Trick or Treat at the park

Ok CP and Halloween fans...was looking back at when I first brought my kids to the park for trick or treating...I'm talking about the locals coming with their kids during the week and local businesses manning the tables...can anyone put a date on when CP started this?

If you're talking about the trick or treat candy stations inside Kiddy Kingdom, where you went from numbered table to table, that was started in 2014. If you're talking about the first Halloweekends event at the park, that was started back in 1997. I've been to each years since the beginning. Is this what you mean?

The one place I recall from childhood that was fun and gave candy at CP, was the mirror maze inside dodgems. God I miss that

neither, what I'm talking about is the event like last evening. Local families can come over to the park for safe trick or treating. The tables are set up and run by local businesses, not CP. It's not during regular park hours.

Sounds like you should've asked last evening.

I had no idea that any such thing ever existed. Is it even advertised?

I know its been going on for years but I dont know for how long. Its great for the park to do that for the kids.

They have had an annual trick or treating night for many years. Going back at least 25 years. It's always during the week usually on a Wednesday. It's mainly advertised to locals. A paper is sent home to kids of Sandusky Schools.
