That bunny hill looks like the perfect air-time hill

great pics doug. Ohhh and just to let everone know Onpoint has updated there Blog. and it might have something to do with P07. In fact it does!

Bow down, Bow down before the power of Santa, or be crushed, be crushed by----- his Jolly boots of Doom.

Coming Soon! Star Wars episode 7- The Fallen Hero
episode 8- The Republic in Crisis
episode 9- Victory of the Force

I love how the scale of the project changes from each shot. Really shows what a zoom lens can do.

I love the shot of the track coming down from the hill and getting ready to go into another turn.

Wonder why they're drywalling already when they don't even have a roof on yet? Then again, that could be some material other than drywall. I guess they need to get something up there for the electricians to start mounting their panels to.

Thanks again for the pics Doug. Great updates!

Ride on, MrScott!

CALL ME CRAZY BUT, DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE THAT THE SUPPORTS FOR THAT HILL LOOK LIKE AN "M". MAVERICK? M FOR MAVERICK...

4 summers of employment in ride operations does stuff to you.

Me likey bouncey! Me likey bouncey! Me likey bouncey! I mean, looks great.

I was going to mention the same thing about the M supports. Engineers could have done anything they wanted to support that hill. That they picked that type of alignment doesn't seem to be a coincidence at all to me.

^^Ba dum buh!!!! haha

I really agree with halltd. You don't really get a good sense of the size of things until you see a hill like this, especially the picture with the worker on the track. Really puts things in perspective for us who can't make it to the park very often.

maybe they meant it be like that, i don't know.

All I know is that trim brakes should never be seen anywhere near that hill! It looks awsome. *** Edited 8/22/2006 10:18:20 PM UTC by GAM man 68***

Great update. That hill does look a bit larger than I had expected, which should be good for airtime. The "M" configuration of the supports is probably coincidental in my opinion, but who knows!

Thrills Around the Corner!

My guess is that this hill is at the end of the ride, as it is winding down....one last bit of air before entering the station, or a final helix....yes?

Promoter of fog.

Yea the "M" things pretty cool but I think it was just a quincadence.

i will be making a trip to cp aug 27-31 i will be taking a ton of pictures of the p07 site. if anyone would like the pics after i come back let me know. i will be more than willing to put in a link to my photobucket account.

Hmmm... I WAS watching The Revenge of the Pink Panther last night, so obviously this ride will be themed to the Pink Panther movies: http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=5145
And to quote what Inspector Clouseau would say, we have a large "bimp" in the track.

(I will wait to see how many people didn't get the joke) *** Edited 8/22/2006 10:28:45 PM UTC by MilleniumMadMan*** *** Edited 8/22/2006 10:29:42 PM UTC by MilleniumMadMan***

Water is involved
R.I.P: The Mayor, Mr. Scott

They could have had single vertical supports there if they didn't plan on it being a M right?
