Update: Historic CP&LE photos

Work here at Disney World, and I waited on some guys from Disneyland today, they were in town riding Everest, anyway I asked them about Maude (now the Ward K) and they said she is running great, looking great, and a great addtion to the park!

Nice to know.

I would like to see it extended to Sky Ride and Giant Wheel and then maybe to the carousels (except for Cedar Downs), Antique Cars, Cadillac Cars, and Turnpike Cars. But this is a good start.

I can't speak for the cars and carousels, but Skyride, no thank you. Its bad enough when we have a guest video taping rather than exiting when we are running 38 cabins. I can't imagine how bad it would get if it were allowed. I said exit quickly and carefully please, not continue making your home movie while disrupting the safe operation of the ride...

The three car rides are understandable. Imaging people taking pictures and not maying attention, next thing you know lawsuits are flying around because of whiplash.

I see your point, Vince. But if the ride is gentle enough for them to allow handheld babies, it must not be that much of a problem.

Not that there's a big demand for on-ride photography on the Antique Cars. :)

I've been waiting for you to post a POV of turnpike cars though. I am unable to ride any more because the cars are too small.

That would be awesome. Do a POV, only speed it up to, say, double the regular speed. That way, it would almost feel like a thrill ride! ;)

What're you talking about, it is a thrill ride. Its a thrill just finding a way to get in the ride. In fact, I think last time I didn't even use the gas pedal. I put my arm out of the car and pushed down on the lever.

That's something I wish I could make available.

I remember when I rode Turnpike cars for the first time last year, I couldn't believe how small they were. I did, at one point, use my hand to push the lever outside because my leg was in pain. All in good fun, nonetheless.
