Updated Fast Lane Wait Times

Any word in wait times using fast lane on peak days like Saturdays?

went last sunday and it was the same as any other day, 15 minutes. Maverick was really bad it was like 1 hour.

is that why on monday they had on the fast pass sign for maverick that fast pass can not be used on this ride at this time

Are you saying the Maverick Fast Lane time was an HOUR?? What was the regular time then. Does anyone have any more information on the Maverick Fast Lane?

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and call BS on that, considering the merge point for Maverick's FL queue is at the top of the stairs.

I would call it plausable. May 18the the Maverick fastlane que was compleatly full and spilled out onto the walkway by at least 20 feet and the trains were stacking badly. If they changed the ratio to anything less than 50/50 (which is what they were running when we rode) I could see that line taking an hour.

Not BS, the line was 200 deep on the walkway at about 6:30. I asked the attended and she said they were letting in 5 fastpasser for every 20 regular people.

The regular line was only like 90 minutes.

Very disappointed since that is my favorite ride

Question for the point4life?

What time did you see that sign?

They will have that sign up during ERT but ussually take it down at 10:00 am

So, the standard queue was only 90 minutes, but the (presumably full) FL queue was 60? And the mix is 20% FL riders?

Still seems BS-ish. :)

So what is the max number of FL tickets they sell a day? What determines that number and is it fixed or based on the crowd?

I can't confirm the hour wait, but we waited over half an hour on Saturday the 18th with FL. It was a busy day but not extraordinarily so.

The merge point is at the stairs, however at least on that weekend, the merging was handled very poorly by most of the ride ops, just sort of letting people free-for-all from either side.

The FL queue spilled out past its entrance and onto the sidewalk behind the antique cars when we waited.

I can see a 1/2-hour-ish FL line that extends onto the midway as being reasonable, especially with poor crowd control. Novak72 would have had to wait in a line stretching pretty much all the way to Wave Swinger to experience a 1-hour wait.

Brandon

huskerchad waited over 30 minutes with a 50/50 ratio. An hour sounds likely when you keep the line the same length but change the ratio to 20/80.

They did things different on sunday, no merge yourself. The attendent mover her seat to the top of the stairs and would
let 5 fasspassers go for every 20 regulars. Earlier in the year it was merge yourself which was closer to a 50 50 ratio I am glad they did away with merge yourself. That was trouble waiting to happen. They just need to get it closer to a 50 50 ratio. Other than maverick all the other fast lane lines moved great. Nothing over 20 minutes on a really crowded day.

I saw it at like 940 in the morning on monday so i could of been taken off around 10. i just have never seen that before

I waited at least a half hour for Maverick in the FL line on Sunday. It spilled out into the walkway a little. As mentioned, it comes down to their merger ratio. Dragster and GK seemed to be solidly under 20 mins each time, but Maverick and Millennium were consistently closer to 30.

Price more people out! :)

Yes, price more people out, and/or sell fewer of them.

To me, it's not a deal at all if I still have to wait 30 minutes. Heck, I don't wait 30 minutes for anything, and I've never bought a fast lane!!!! When lines get long, I walk back to my trailer and have a drink, till things calm down.

Mav, I'm starting to worry about you. I think that may be the start of a drinking problem. If you drink any time you have to wait more than 30 minutes, I think all you may be doing is drinking. Friends don't let friends post comments while drinking.

On another thread someone mentioned an ignore button. Count me in as someone who would donate to its development.
