What Colors? What Name?

What colors do you think that this new coaster will be? What name too? I think it will be some kind of bright orange, with hot pink and lime green trains. If there are 3 trains, then the third will be a lighter color orange. Thats just what I want. I dono what it would be called. hopefully something catchy. :)

Jay-Pizzie's Wild Ride. Yellow, blue and orange, like GTTP. (And I had the colors before Talon, dammit!)

Wow. With such bright, effervescent colors, you could name the ride "Journey to Malibu." Blech.

I am still the Geminazi!

rawr!

OK, if it's Intamin, make the center of the track (all those little bars) gray (not silver). Make the 4 rails black. Supports should be black. One train's front seat should look like the front of a F-117A Nighthawk (air force plane)

Another should look like the front of a F-15 Eagle

And the third should be an A-10 Thunderbolt, of course.

The coaster should be called the US AIR FORCE.

Since the site has Magnum and Corkscrew nearby, I would think they'd not use orange, red or blue. Something bright and different so it stands out from Maggie and Corkscrew....bright pink or teal track with yellow supports would be my pick.

Although I do like SOOperGIR's idea as well!

Well, lesse here.....colors they're already got well covered (all steel, of course):

Green, Blue, Silver, Orange, Yellow, Red, and Purple.

What color(s) are left? Black, Teal, Pink, White, and some sort of Maroon.

I'll rule out Black or Maroon.....not commonly used.

My guess: White, with Teal (or some shade of Green) and Pink (possibly Red), and I'll throw in a splash of Yellow to complete the theme.

"I'll rule out Black or Maroon.....not commonly used."

I'de have to disagree with your reasoing. Those two colors aren't mainly used on any coaster at the point, just my thought though. Black may finaly be in style on a coaster.

On a side note, would CP ever use an outside sponser for the ride? As in a name sponser? My guess is NO but if so then that should/could dictate colors and such.

I hope CP would use an outside sponser because then you end up w/ names like Playstation the ride and what not...

"Your obssesed w/ that place aren't you?"

I would love to see a black tracked Intamin with red, yellow, or white supports.

I think that if it is launched to 120+ mph then it should be named Terminal Velocity because it's such an awesome name for a ride and emphasizes the ride's speed.

I suspect that Cedar Point calls the ride something like Freedom, or Freedom Fighter...this would be a great name for the times.

July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and Deadsy

Don't be surprised if they go ahead and give this another hot rod theme (ala Xcelerator). This means some hot pink, some neon green, and some white.

Years ago, CP did rename the Mill Race to "Nestea Plunge". That only lasted 2 or 3 years before they changed the ride back to Mill Race. Today, the Sky Ride is sponsored by the Ohio Lottery.

but Ohio has Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay.

Snake River Falls has always been sponsered by Pepsi.

S00perGIR , I like your idea. Althought the colors do sound like something you would find on the inverted coaster, Batman: The Ride, its still a great idea. Maybe the Air Force would show a little interest into sponsering the ride. The name Nighthawk, sounds cool anyways even if it is just the name of the plane.

Cool! Glad to see some other people like my idea! :)
It going to be Green and Pink and Glow in the Dark...

I fool so feelish...

James, you know, I wouldn't be surprised if it was green and pink and glow in the dark... And 3D too! After seeing what they did to Disaster Transport, I think they have a few too many extra cans of 3D glow in the dark paint sitting around!

I still like "Ballistic" for the name... it may have been beaten out by Wicked Twister last year but it must have its revenge!

I like the red/pink color of Xcelerator. I think it gives a great description of how high you really are off the ground. Tell me a 400 foot pink top hat wouldn't look sweet from the causeway!

Hmmm, lets see, how about Stainless Steel? Maybe like brown supports and Forest green track to blend in with the wooded area. Just throwing something out there.
