3 hours for Maverick

3 hours for Maverick. We had the kids with us and i was still nursing my son every 3 hours. So we did the parent swap thing(which I love) and I waited in the line then my husband used the swap. Worked out great. I don't usually wait over a hour for anything unless it's new.

2.5 for maverick

3.5 for MF

4 for TTD

all were first times and all waits were worth it. haha

Waited just over 3 hours for Mean Streak opening year and 4.5 hours for Maverick Labor Day weekend, only because it has broken down. This brings to mind back in the early 90's Standing in line used to be more fun. People would bring inflatables like beach balls in line and would get tossed around. Ahhh the 90's tight rolled pants and vanilla ice.

Take you up really really high and then drop you at speeds that are really really fast.

I waited in line for top thrill dragster on may 4 2003 over 5 hours because it new roller coaster for Cedar point. it did shut down couple of times about 1 hour and they keep it running.

There is nothing worth waiting more than 45 minutes for, and that includes a Chet & Matts pizza!

Seriously, there is too much fun to be had at CP to wait rediculous amounts of time in line for....try the other rides, catch a show, walk the beach, most importantly make your visit worth while, there is always time for another visit.

It's not the line that's so bad often, it's the people in the line.....swearing, smoking, spitting, sitting on rails, etc., etc., etc... all that stuff that CP policy says is not allowed in line goes on all the time.

^I understand your feelings about the people in line, Most of the time I enjoy waiting if the atmosphere of it is good. But some people can do dumb things, and here's my opinion about each:

Swearing- it gets annoying after a while.

smoking- I don't yell at anyone as not to start fights, just as long as they dont blow smoke in my face.

Staring- Most of the time people, usually teenage girls for some reason, tend to watch me and my friends. That bugs me the most.

Spitting- it's nasty, but yet funny when they spit at fish in the water and fish eat it!!

Rail sitting- that doesn't bother me as much, but if they keep doing it and always get yelled at over again, then it's annoying.
