Wicked Twister Front or Back

If it speeds up correctly (Once in a while it does not launch quite enough like TTD not going fast enough) you will go up the final backward launch and will twish just enough so you are looking straight down with no obsticle in front of you. You are turned from the track so it is not in front of you and the people in front of you do not fully make the turn so they are still a little off to the side.

You have nothing in front of you so you are looking straight down with no track of other parts of the train. It is like sitting in the front but you also have the height. I have been on it before and it did not quite do the twist so it was not clear but most of the time I end up looking straight down, lately at the jet skies.

I'm going out to get some air.

Back is where its at. The fastest launch is the second time going up the back spike and thats when the ride reaches 72mph. Back seat of wicked twister is one of the best rides ever.

I prefer the Front of the train.

I rode back seat on Wt on thursday and it was awesome!!

it fools you on the first launch because you are at the bottom with no twist but then on the way up backwards you go all the way UP and Around!!

I rode WT about 10-15 times in a row last year, trying everything, and I think the back is the best. I love that coaster!

I like the front during the morning hours, less bugs. Back at night. Maybe they can reconfigure the train so you face each other like some boomerangs do.

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

Off topic a little but still kind of on. What is the best seat for Dragster. I always like the back seat on almost every other coaster for speed and longer hills but I am not sure which would be the best on TTD.

The way the curve takes you, on that side there is nothing in front of you when you reach the highest point in the back.

It is often straight down unless it underlaunches.

It is just about the angle and the view. I have been on when it does not quite curve the way this is needed but it is normally an awesome view...

I really like this topic. Never really thought about it before, but I am not going to lie that I think this is the "scariest" ride behind MaxAir at CP. I didn't say "best," I said "scariest!" I am a huge adrenaline junky/coaster enthusiest and I am affraid of heights which is why I love coasters so much. The front seat definitely is way better, especially when it looks like you are about to fly off the end of the track when it has built up enough speed to reach its highest point. FRONT SEAT!!!

Maybe I'm just getting old... but Wicked Twister is becoming a bit too intense for me. It also feels like it is shuffling on it's track a bit more as well... When I rode it a few weekends ago, I had no desire to get back on it anymore this summer. Which is odd, since I used to love it.

One of the scariest rides ever! It's a real heart-racing, out-of-breath rush. WT still has the fear factor even after many rides. Travelling back down the front spike never fails to get my pulse pounding.

As stated above, the back is more fun because it gives that awesome view of the sand waaaay below, and seeing the train twisted in front of you tells your brain what you are going to zip through in the next few seconds.

I prefer the back. I love being high on the back spike staring down. Or I go for the middle so I get the most twist on each spike but the closer to the back the better.

The front because you can pose in silly ways as you rush through the station. There, all the people in line are looking at you and will see you do something, because you are in the front seat!

You guys can tell your stories now about what you have seen on WT, since you have probably seen funny things....

Row 3 or Row 15, both offer fantastic rides, but usually without the wait for the very first or last rows.

The back on Wicked Twister is amazing but the front is good also.
