There’s Still Time For Summer Fun!

SANDUSKY, Ohio, 2006 – Cedar Point amusement park/resort, recently voted the “Best Amusement Park in the World” for a record ninth consecutive year, will open for two Bonus Weekends on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 8-10 and 15-17. On Friday nights, Cedar Point will be open from 6-11 p.m. with limited ride availability. (Some rides and attractions will not be open.) On Saturdays and Sundays, the park will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Cedar Point will re-open for its 10th annual HalloWeekends event on Friday night, Sept. 22.

The 34th annual North American In-Water Boat Show will drop anchor at the Cedar Point Marina Wednesday through Sunday, Sept. 13-17. This is the largest boat show on the Great Lakes and will exhibit more than 700 sail and power boats, ranging from boats that cost a few hundred dollars to boats that are 60 feet long and are worth more than $1.5 million. The show will feature boats from the top builders, including new, pre-owned and brokerage boats, and will display the latest in marine accessories and equipment. New for this year will be the Bikes and Boats exhibit with motorcycle dealers from Harley, Honda, KTM, Yamaha and Suzuki. For more fun, the Party Barge will offer food, drink and live entertainment! Admission to the boat show does not include admission to Cedar Point. Children age 12 and under are admitted free to the boat show. Show hours will be noon to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 13-15, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.
