Details on the amusement park’s major new ride were revealed yesterday, ending months of speculation from roller coaster enthusiasts and park patrons who could see construction going on in Frontiertown during the summer.
Walt Schmidt, co-manager of PointBuzz.com, a Web site dedicated to fans of Cedar Point, told the Toledo Blade he was happy to see a ride that focuses less on breaking records and more on unique features. “I think it’s a fantastic addition,” he said. “I think not only can you be thrilled, you can have some old-fashioned fun.”
