SANDUSKY - Cedar Point will look into breaking out the giant screen for the broadcasting of future sporting events.

The weather wasn't great, but Cedar Point guests enjoyed watching the Ohio State football game at Iowa at 8 p.m. Saturday, said park spokesman Bryan Edwards.

For the first time ever, Cedar Point showed a football game on the park's giant outdoor screen Saturday.

Edwards said he doesn't know how many watched the game, because some people came and sat for a while, while others just walked by to check the score. Food and beverages were available for purchase in the area of the giant screen, which was between the Iron Dragon and WildCat roller coaster.
